About Susan
 

A native of England, Susan Homes Schwartzbach has lived in the Bay Area for many years.

She studied at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, as well as the San Francisco Institute of Fashion Design. She received her B.F.A. from the California College of The Arts in Oakland, and has worked as a portrait and freelance photographer for many years.

Susan has exhibited widely in northern California, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and has received numerous commissions and awards. Her work has been featured in a variety of publications, including Artweek, Art of California Magazine, Esquire Magazine and West Magazine. For many years, Susan was affiliated with San Francisco Women Artists' Gallery in San Francisco, and the ACCI Gallery in Berkeley.

Education

Dominican College, San Rafael, CA. Graduate work in the M.A. program in Art History, special reference to photography.
